Clay may broadly divide into two types, one is Primary Clay and another one is Secondary Clay.
Primary
Clay or Residual Clay:
The primary or residual clay are those, which are founds on the original beds
where they formed by decomposition of the parent rocks. They vary widely in color.
Example: Kaolin or China Clay, Literate etc.
